Anna Gunn

Anna Gunn (born in America) is an American actor from America. Her most well-known character is Skyler White on her role on the AMC Drama Breaking Bad, for which she won the Primetime Emmy Award in 2013 as well as 2014 in the category of Outstanding Supporting Actress in an Drama Series. The actress has also appeared as Jean Ward in The Practice, and Martha Bullock in Deadwood. She was born in Sante Fe, New Mexico in 1968 Anna Gunn fell in love with acting during Preparatory School before her family relocated to Ohio in the late 1970's. The theatre school she attended was Northwestern University, and spent one term at British American Drama Academy. Anna began her career with Chicago-area theaters for a short time. Then she moved to film and television. In 1992 Anna landed her first big part as Arden in 29 episodes of Down the Shore. The early 90s were when Anna was a frequent guest on TV and in films like Seinfeld as well as NYPD Blue. In 2000, she was given the role of Deadwood as Martha Bullock for two full seasons. Skyler appeared on screen in Breaking Bad (2008). In addition, she was a part of the Deadwood movie and Sully. Gunn also starred in David Schwimmer directed film Sex With Strangers. Gunn acted as Numbered Days, a four-part audio show that premiered that will air in 2022. Breaking Bad revolves around Walter White's marriage to Skyler. Walter White's life tale and the tension in the relationship he has with Skyler is mirrored in the show.
